Hotel: White Corner Hotel

Comes with a good shower hand holder you can take off- this is helpful when you take your showers post-surgery so you don't get your cast wet.
Electric Water Boiler (you can use it to heat up soups, teas, coffee, water, etc.)
Mini-fridge

The electric water boiler & mini-fridge was great for me during my stay since I was alone and I was able to go to the local MIGROS (supermarket place in Turkey) where I purchased soft foods, soups, and Tuna for my long stay.

You're not going to be comfortable walking around after rhinoplasty. It's best to have food for the entire week until you feel safe/comfortable walking around to purchase food or shop. It took me about 7-9 days to finally feel comfortable going out and even then the tampons in my nose hurt when I went out on day 5 and day 8.

It's best to walk around an area with flat ground (your hotel room, malls such as the Airport outlet mall, Aqua Florya, etc). Even then, I had to stop and wait a bit if I felt lightheaded.

I don't recommend walking outside near the hotel since it's really hilly and it can hurt the tampons in your nose (tampons don't get taken off until 5-7 days post-op- this will vary by your doctor).

Stay Duration: 2 weeks.

For my last two days, I stayed in Cheers Hostel (March 22-24) in the Fatih area.

I recommend getting to Istanbul, Turkey 3-4 days prior to surgery to enjoy the Fatih area and then get your nose done because you have to be extra cautious post-surgery, especially in the hilly areas.

P.S~ I found better prices in the Bahçelievler than in the Fatih area and I don't recommend shopping in the Grand Bazaar. You should visit, but not buy. Most things are overpriced. For souvenirs, you can go outside the Grand Bazaar area in the same area and the farther you go the better prices you'll find. The only two things I didn't regret purchasing in the Grand Bazaar was a Tea Set I hassled for (you can offer a lower price).
